Institute of Foreign Trade and Management [IFTM] was established in 1998 under the aegis of Hindu Educational Society, Moradabad, registered in 1920 under the Societies Registration Act 1860. Promoted by a group of public-spirited entrepreneurs under the stewardship of Shri Onkar Saran Kothiwal committed to the development of professional education, one of the major aims of this Society is to impart high quality education in the fields of Management, Computer Applications, Pharmacy and Medical Science. The members of the society, specially its president, have vast experience in their respective fields of business and also in setting up and successfully managing various educational institutions and are well known for their contribution in developing facilities for the professional and technical education in this part of country.

With a committed Governing Body, an illustrious Advisory Board and dedicated Director to oversee its functioning, in a short span of time, IFTM has made phenomenal progress and has become one of the most sought after institutions in the country. The special position which the Institute has come to occupy in the academic world, as well as the unique features it has developed in the recent years, has resulted from the unwavering commitments of the Institute and the mandate it has given to itself in term of those commitments. This Institute also has its Engineering & Technology wing the College of Engineering & Technology, which is started in the adjacent campus.
